
Google Chrome is a browser that combines a minimal design with sophisticated technology to make the web faster, safer, and easier. It is currently available for Windows XP and Windows Vista only. However, versions for Mac and Linux are in the process of preparation and will soon also be available

One window for any task
Web search, search history, address bar, suggestions as you type. One universal window, which is used to perform all the tasks when you are on-line. In Google Chrome using the address bar you can go to any site on the Internet. Address Bar, located at the top of the standard Chrome window, simplifies the work on the Internet and also functions a search box. It also allows you to create bookmarks and track the security status of various websites. Enter your search query in the address bar, and you will be automatically offered a set of relevant queries and popular websites.
The “New Tab”
Each time you open a new tab the list is displaid that shows the most visited sites, the most frequently used search engines, pages recently added to bookmarks and the recently closed tabs. When you open a new tab Google Chrome displays useful information on it. With a single click of the mouse, you can go to the most frequently used Web resources. To open the “New tab”, click on the + icon next to the last tab. Most likely, you visit some of the Web sites regularly. The “New Tab” page automatically displays thumbnails of pages and links to these websites. To view the complete history of visited pages saved in your browser, click “View history” at the bottom of the page.
Application labels
Use the web-based applications without opening your browser. Using shortcuts you can immediately download your favorite web applications.
Dynamic tabs
You can easily drag tabs out of the browser windows, creating new windows, bring the tabs in one window, or have the tab in any order you like. Google Chrome tabs are easy to use and make it easier to view different Web sites. In windows and tabs Chrome also supports various key combinations.
Failures control
Each tab open in the browser does not depend on other tabs, so the error on one application does not affect the work of others.
Using incognito mode
You don’t want pages you visit to be recorded in the history of Web searches? View pages in the incognito mode. After closing the window all new cookie files will be deleted. You can work in the standard mode and the incognito mode at the same time, using different windows.
Safe Browsing
In Google Chrome while trying to visit potentially dangerous Web sites, you receive a warning. When you connect to a Web site that uses SSL to protect data, the server on which the website is hosted, sends Chrome and other browsers certificate that proves its authenticity. This certificate, for example, contains information on the website address, confirmed by an external organization that you have listed as credible. Having checked that your website address is the same as listed in the certificate, you can make sure that the connection is carried out with the website specified in the certificate, rather than from any other resource.
Instant creation of bookmarks
Want to create a bookmark for a Web page? To do this, simply click on the star icon to the left of the address bar.
Import of settings
After you start using the Google Chrome browser, you can easily transfer all your bookmarks and passwords from your previous browser. By default, Google Chrome copies the history of visited pages, saved Web sites and passwords from the previous browser during installation.
Easy to download
Download status is displayed at the bottom of the open window. When downloading a file from the Web site at the bottom of the tab a new bar appears, which monitors the progress of the file being download. The file button indicates how much time remains to complete the process. On the tab a green arrow appears showing that downloading is taking place
